Accountant

Remote Role (Must be currently UK Based)
Salary Range: £18 000 to £40 000

Our team is all about the Digital Era, established globally and quickly building locally, we’re transforming the Accounting Industry. We use Cloud Accounting such as Xero, Dext, Quickbooks and our Sleek Tech to work smartly and efficiently with our SME clients.

We are now searching for Accountants (Junior/Intermediate/Manager) to join us remotely or to work from our offices based in Manchester or Leeds UK. Our team is an EXTRA-ordinary group of Accountants who share values such as simplicity, kindness, excellence, authenticity and most of all fun!

Your daily tasks will include:

• Preparation and review of statutory annual accounts, reconciliations, external returns and claims for a large portfolio of SME clients
• Build new relationships and maintain existing relationships with clients.
• Taking an active role to train new accountants and upskill junior accountants in the team
• Ensure financial records, systems and other internal controls, including standing orders, financial regulations and asset registers, are properly managed, maintained, controlled, reviewed and complied with.

To be successful in this position we need:

• AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified or partially qualified with supplementary experience
• At least 2 years + Client and Cloud Accounting experience
• Extensive knowledge of Accounting, corporation tax compliance and VAT processes and regulations
• Proficient in Accounting Software: Quickbook, Xero, Excel etc.

Advantageous:

• Working in a fast growing start up and with a large portfolio of SME Clientele
• Working knowledge of Payroll and Personal Tax
