Adventurous Creative Girl Seeks A Fun-Loving P.A.

Location: Carbis Bay

Adventurous creative young lady who enjoys being outside, loves animals, as well as swimming, dancing, and riding her bike seeks a fun-loving and warm-hearted personal assistant to join her jolly team. She has a diagnosis of Autism, Learning disabilities and Epilepsy. Role is supporting her 2:1 and there will be no lone-working

Support required:

· Personal support

· Meal preparation

· Support with medication

· Driving her vehicle

· Support her to take part with activities in the community

· Emotional support

· Support with movement via a handling belt and/or a wheelchair when outside

· Supporting with furthering her independence

Hourly rate of pay: £11.50 + £85.50 per sleep in.

Total hours: Various hours and shift patterns including weekends and sleep-ins are available. Times for support cover 24/7, so hours can be negotiated.

Essential:

- A patient person who can adapt to the needs and wants of the people they support.

- Full driving licence

Desirable:

- Some knowledge of Makaton/key signs, although training will be provided

- Someone who can create a warm and homely environment at the beginning and the end of each day to help her feel safe

Training to be provided – Previous support work experience isn’t required, we ask only that you have a willingness to learn
