PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Event operations is a fundamental aspect of our business. It involves multiple logistical functions to ensure the successful delivery of our events. You will play a pivotal role in the operations function of over 900 events a year, throughout the UK . The role is primarily focussed around the organisation, staffing, recruitment & training of our event delivery team.

Working alongside the operations team, and with an events assistant as part of your team, you will be managing the logistics of over 80 freelance event crew including event managers, event hosts and specialist instructors. In addition, the role involves a high volume of staffing & recruitment to ever increase our portfolio of high-calibre event crew.

ABOUT YOU

To succeed in this role you will need a can-do attitude and the ability work alongside a very lively, hardworking and creative team. No specific experience in corporate events or team building is required, however you will need the fundamental skills required to excel in this role.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Working alongside the Event Resource Manager the role will specifically involve:

  • Organising the crew, in advance of a high volume of corporate event specific experiences
  • Assisting with the logistics of event crew including detailed pre-event packs
  • Assisting with crew transport and accommodation logistics
  • Initiating and assisting creative recruitment campaigns for the ongoing need for new staff
  • Planning and delivering new starter, and ongoing product training alongside our experienced event management team.
  • Supporting an Events Resource Manager to support daily tasks
  • Assisting the ongoing communication with event delivery crew
  • Being the first port of call for event crew, on live events and prior to delivery
  • Managing health and safety documentation and the accurate filling management for all pre and post event documentation
  • Supporting staff to ensure they are a valued, respective, motivated and intrinsic part of the team
