The length of your apprenticeship will vary dependant on course provider and scheme. Rest assured; we will support your study time alongside your permanent role.

As part of the Underwriting Services team, your day will always be filled with varied activities – from collaborating with Zurich colleagues across the world to servicing our largest multinational customer requirements, facilitating processing and invoicing of policies and premiums, involvement with the Settlement of both Reinsurance Premium and Claims which includes Credit Control, alongside supporting our London underwriting teams in securing renewal and new business wins.

Beyond the day-to-day activities there are also opportunities to get involved in supporting future ways of working, including process improvement, automation and artificial intelligence technology.

Underwriting is the process by which Zurich takes on the risk of a customer, either individual or a company, incurring a financial loss, such as the impact of fire or storm, in return for a premium – to provide solutions to protect our customers.
