About Woodmill Game
Woodmill Game sources and prepares top quality Wild Game to sell at markets, shows and online across Scotland and the UK. We take enormous pride in combining the traditions of game with exciting and innovative foodie ideas and are 100% committed to getting more and more people to discover and enjoy this amazing wild food.
With a recent expansion down to London, we're now looking for a team of fun, upbeat, sociable and trustworthy stall holders to help get our fabulous Wild Game out across the city. The role is flexible, so the successful candidates will be able to choose which days they'd like to work (minimum 2 days per month).
We also have a manager role available for those that show commitment, reliability and promise (potential for wage increase).
What the job involves
- Flexible shifts where you can choose which days to work
- Serving customers
- Cash handling
- Packing down/setting up
- Stock taking
- Responsible for all hygiene related matters and ensure adequate food safety standards.
- Chat with and inform customers on our product range, ethos and story.
- Cooking and sharing samples
- Take responsibility for running a market stall on your own
- Manager role - delivering units in a van to market locations across London, collection and upkeep of market units, receiving and sorting stock on a Friday.
Prior processing experience not required
- We will provide all on-the-job training
Hours
- Saturday - Sunday, 10am - 3pm (average weekend, but this can vary both ways)
- Manager role - potential for more days/hours
Who we are looking for
- Capable of working unsupervised
- A motivated team player with the ability to fit in with a team and represent the business correctly.
- Hard working and prepared to step up when additional help is needed.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 6 - 20 per week
Salary: From £10.00 per hour
