Role summary

Woodlands Dental Laboratory is a long established private laboratory, providing a full range of services to an established customer base.
We are looking for an experienced, dedicated Prosthetic Technician to join our team. At Woodlands, we pride ourselves on our reputation for providing high quality products that facilitate outstanding patient outcomes.
To maintain this, our vision is to continue to offer our Dentists access to high quality traditionally manufactured appliances, but complement this with high quality digitally produced appliances as they become available.
We are looking for an experienced prosthetic technician to join us in growing our prosthetic department.
Experience
- Waxing up and processing of dentures
- Experience working with acrylics and possibly valplast (flexi dentures)
- Good understanding & knowledge of materials and the construction of full and partial dentures.
- Has worked with Implant and attachment cases.
- Assist with training others
- Has an eye for detail
- Able to talk to clients and aid with treatment planning.
- Interest in the use of additive manufacturing to produce ‘digital’ dentures (not essential)

Qualifications required
- GDC registration
- 5 years plus experience as Prosthetic Technician

Pay: Up to £40,000.00 per year
