Woodlands Care Home is looking to recruit a Housekeeper.
This is the first new luxury care home to be built in Aberdeen for 10 years, which will offer Residential, Nursing & Dementia care for 81-residents.
As Housekeeper, you will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the care home, always ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Housekeeper Contract
- £10.42per hour
- 37.5 hours per week
- Pension
- 5.6 weeks annual leave
- Uniform provided

Responsibilities
- Empty waste bins
- Vacuum throughout
- Shake out cushions
- Clean dining rooms/lounges/toilets
- Clean taps and sinks
- Clean soap dispenser outlets
- Clean toothbrush holders
- Spot clean all floorings
- Wash all bathroom/toilet/en-suite floors
- Polish all mirrors
- Clean all pipe work in toilets
- Dust handrails and radiators
- Move all mobile furniture (including beds and chairs) and vacuum and dust beneath/behind
- Wash out metal wastepaper bins
- Dust and polish furniture and windowsills
- Wash lino floors
- Shampoo carpets as requested by Home Manager
- Dust light bulbs, curtains, pictures, and fittings
- Restock toiletries, soaps, towels when required
