What will you be doing as an Assistant Accountant?
- Preparation of accurate and timely financial reporting and interpretation of the operations on a periodic basis
- Supporting Finance Managers with the delivery of annual budgets and customer forecasts
- Develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Preparation of weekly and periodic customer reports
- Reporting and monitoring of KPI and non-financials to support service delivery and contractual commitments
- Undertake nominal ledger task including processing journals, nominal ledger cross charges and period end reconciliations
- Monthly invoicing and payroll reconciliations
- Act as Number 2 to Finance Manager supporting with ad-hoc requests both internal and external
- Assist in completion of day to day operational activities and general administrative duties

Relevant skills and experience as a Assistant Accountant:
- Accounts knowledge is ESSENTIAL
- Studying toward AAT/CIMA/ACCA would be advantageous but not essential
- Ability to build relationships at all levels
- Proactive and inquisitive with a passion for challenging teams and driving performance and efficiency improvements
- A keen eye for detail and financial controls
- IT literate – strong Excel skills
As a Assistant Accountant you will be rewarded with:
