About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Wesleyan’s General Insurance Retention/Renewals team for a General Insurance Consultant. The role is telephony based and will include handling both inbound and outbound customer calls in relation to home, motor, and travel insurance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide tailored advice to renew Motor/Home/Travel Insurance via inbound and outbound calls.
  • Handle both inbound and outbound telephone calls from new and existing customers ensuring all customer requests/queries/changes are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all customer documentation is accurate and sent out within agreed timescales.
  • Deliver retention/renewal income targets and be responsible for generating leads and cross selling related products.
  • Administer changes to policies which includes recalculating premiums and updating payments.
  • Compliance with regulatory and standards frameworks as set by the business, as well as Financial Conduct Authority, General Data Protection Act, etc.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous home/motor insurance experience.
  • Previous telephony/outbound experience.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Understanding of delivering an advice-based service.
  • Understanding of financial services.
  • Understanding of insurers and insurance brokers.

  • Annual salary of up to £22,000 per annum (dependent on experience), reviewed annually
