IT Project Manager

As we prepare for out next phase of growth and innovation, we have an incredibly exciting opportunity for an IT Project Manager to join our IT Team based in Park Royal.

The Role:

• You will deliver systems projects that support the organisation's business needs, IT and Business Strategy. You will maintain project documentation and hold delivery partners accountable for their deliveries.
• You will collaborate closely with the IT Business Analyst and all stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans that align with the IT roadmap.
• You will report directly to the IT Program Manager and be responsible for delivering the IT solutions necessary to enable the company's exciting business growth plans.
• This is an important role that offers input into the direction of the business’ strategy as the business and IT Team grows.
• You must have excellent project management skills and be proficient in communicating complicated concepts and plans. You will work with both business owners and impacted departments to achieve the best result for the Wasabi organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find effective solutions.
• Manage project resources and maintain accurate project reporting and documentation.
• Manage changes to project scope, requirements, and timelines using change management strategies.
• Develop and manage project budgets to ensure that resources are allocated efficiently, and costs are managed effectively.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks that could impact project delivery or business operations.
• Keep stakeholders informed of project status, progress, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that project financials align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Inspire and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and overcome challenges through effective communication and delegation of tasks.
• Promote a positive team culture that promotes creativity, innovation, and collaboration among team members.
• Encourage collaboration and effective communication among project team members and stakeholders.
• Build and manage cross-functional project teams that have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver the project successfully.
• Facilitate effective collaboration and communication among team members to ensure that everyone is working towards the same project goals and objectives.

Our Requirements:

• Proven experience in successfully managing IT projects.
• Knowledge and experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends relevant to the specific IT field.
• Technical knowledge and experience in the specific IT field.
• Excellent spoken and written communication & presentation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
• Familiarity with project management documentation, tools and softwares.

Other Beneficial Experience:

• Certification in project management methodologies, such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile Scrum Master.
• Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Knowledge and experience with change management principles and practices.
• Experience with ERP SAP, NetSuite or NAV/Business Central.
  
• Experience with managing multiple projects or programs concurrently.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends relevant to the specific IT field.
