Surrounded by elegant architecture, boutiques, theatres and fine dining, Vanbrugh House Hotel is a tribute to English architect and dramatist Sir John Vanbrugh (1664-1726), designer of Blenheim Palace and Castle Howard. The hotel offers a bespoke two-hour walking tour of Oxford with a blue and green badge guide to see some of the city's key historic landmarks.
Job Description
9:00am – 2:30pm (Daytime/weekend flexible hours – Start and finish in time for the school run or perfect for those who may have other commitments)
£11.42 per hour
No change in rate for under 21’s
This role is based in our housekeeping team, and you will clean and service our hotel bedrooms and bathrooms to high standards ready for our next guests. Full training and uniform provided. Casual Basis. No experience required for this role, we will give you full training and ongoing support. The hotel only has 22 bedrooms and therefore you will be allocated around 8 – 11 bedrooms ensuring your workload is managed.

Role in our Family
- Making beds and ensuring clean linen is provided.
- Dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and ensuring bedroom cleanliness levels are to our high standards.
- Sanitisation of bathrooms and cleaning of bathrooms ensuring great cleanliness levels.
- To always provide an efficient and friendly service to guests and striving to increase guest satisfaction and Trip Advisor scores and reviews.
- Report any maintenance issues to the housekeeping supervisor
