Permanent position, 23.5 hours per week. Appointments are usually made at the bottom of scale.

We are seeking to appoint a Job Search Assistant to work as part of the frontline careers team. The post holder will be part of the team delivering our careers drop in and will be the first point of call when students require feedback on applications and advice on interview preparation. The post holder will work extensively with students and graduates on a one to one basis and will deliver predesigned workshops to help enhance their employability. When demand for frontline services is less busy, the post holder will contact recent Warwick graduates, offering information and advice, referring to members of the wider careers team for more complex enquiries.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact David Molyneux. E: David.Molyneux@warwick.ac.uk.

In the Supporting Statement section within the application form please present your information by providing examples against the ‘Essential and Desirable’ criteria which can be found in the

We work in a hot-desking environment.

Warwick is committed to building an organisation of mutual respect and dignity, promoting a welcoming, diverse and inclusive working and learning environment. We recognise that everyone is different in a variety of visible and non-visible ways, and that those differences are to be recognised, respected, and valued. Where possible, we go beyond legislation to provide a place where everyone can thrive, supporting all staff to achieve their full potential. We aspire to remove economic, social and cultural barriers that may otherwise prevent people from succeeding.

We therefore welcome and encourage applications from all communities regardless of culture, background, age, disability, sex/gender, gender identity or expression, ethnicity, religion/belief, or sexual or romantic orientation. To find out more about our social inclusion work at Warwick visit our webpages here.
