We have an exciting opportunity in the School of East Asian Studies for a Student Experience Officer.
Located in Jessop West, you will be a key team player in the energetic School of East Asian Studies’ Learning and Teaching Team, at the forefront of delivering high quality student focused administrative support throughout the student lifecycle.
The Student Experience Officer will undertake a range of administrative functions relating to the learning and teaching activities of the School of East Asian Studies (SEAS) and related student facing activities. This post will provide key support to our large cohort of Taught Postgraduate students across 3 Masters courses. This group of students are predominantly from overseas and may require additional support whilst adapting to life and study in the UK.
We are looking for candidates who will have a flexible and adaptable approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build effective networks and strong working relationships. You will have excellent IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular the use of Word and Excel, email and the internet. You will be well motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to problem solve and be an effective team player.
As this is a customer-facing role the expectation is that the working pattern reflects the need to core business hours of the School.
