Equality Diversity Inclusion Advisor (part time, fixed term)

Joining our Culture and Inclusion Team you will be providing advice and guide on EDI matters and deal with challenging dilemmas where policy and practice conflict. Supporting on EDI initiatives, projects and programmes to develop our inclusive environment. In this dynamic role you will be collaborating with our EDI champions, Network Leads, and our Students’ Union colleagues to strive for measurable impact/change. Utilise your broad EDI knowledge to provide pragmatic advice to our academic and professional services community.

About you

You will be experienced in providing expert EDI advice within a complex organisation, you will also have:

• A proactive approach to help foster a positive culture of care that is inclusive
• The ability to provide complex advice, guidance, and support to our community on EDI matters
• Knowledge of EDI legislative and regulatory requirements such as Equality Act 2010 and public sector equality duty (PSED)

This part time role is fixed term for up to 12 months, working 29.2 hours per week (0.8 FTE) to cover maternity leave.
