About us
In order to compete in an increasingly competitive talent market, UCL is changing the way we deliver recruitment to the university, moving away from a reactive, advertising-based model to a proactive search-based model which will be an innovative departure from the standard approach within the higher education sector. Initially establishing a team as proof of concept for professional services roles, the ambition is to deliver this service for all positions. This involves a complete overhaul of our systems and processes relating to recruitment, the creation and delivery of a new recruitment strategy, with measurable targets and outcomes which will enable UCL to attract the brightest and best talent and enable progression for our internal talent to support our academic mission. This new role will sit within the central recruitment operations team and will be responsible for ensuring all activity through Talentlink is compliant with UCL recruitment and financial policies.
About the role
The main responsiblities for the role are: • Ensuring all activity through Talentlink is compliant with specific focus on financial approvals and offers • Working to strict SLAs on system administration tasks and workflow management • Regular reporting on compliance and system usage including scheduled audits. • Main point of contact for basic system administration and configuration • Outside of the primary responsibilities above the role will also support the central recruitment team when time allows on other recruitment related activity (e.g. reporting, event planning, system training etc)
About you
To be successful in the role, you will be a technically savvy, service orientated individual who has gained experience in a customer focused system administration role or a service role which requires significant system enablement. You will have experience of, and be comfortable working to strict daily, weekly and monthly deadlines and be able to manage your workload accordingly. Previous experience in recruitment is not essential, but an understanding of recruitment processes and systems would definitely be an advantage.
