An exciting opportunity has become available for a Teacher of Humanities at Thornhill Community Academy.
We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Humanities to help develop the quality of teaching and learning in the departments and make a significant impact across the Academy.
You will be:
- An effective classroom practitioner with a proven track record of inspiring and motivating students
- A specialist in History, Geography or RE with the ability to teach GCSE Geography
- Able to plan for success and evaluate progress and outcomes
- Able to coach, inspire and enthuse students effectively
- Passionate about child-centred educational principles
We have exceptional standards of behaviour, high levels of support, excellent internal and external CPD opportunities, and have a high regard for our staff’s workload, including a verbal feedback policy.
If you are a teacher who is passionate about Geography, History and RE education and have the experience and drive to ensure all students fulfil their potential, then we would very much like to hear from you.
