Live in front of house staff members full time

We are seeking an individual to join our small team who work together in our award winning country Inn near Dunoon in Argyll. Attention to detail is paramount alongside a relaxed, cheerful disposition. As we are a country inn the ambience our staff create should be attentive, professional and efficient whilst being friendly and warm, with of course the now famous Whistlefield welcome!

We look after each other and our team has a real family feel. The front of house assistant needs to be competent in all areas: must be able to confidently serve all bar products as usual in an English/Scottish pub, with table service throughout the business. Some shifts will be working alone but with other staff on busier shifts. We all work in all areas of the business. Housekeeping for our 8 ensuite rooms will also be part of the position so experience in cleaning guest rooms is very advantageous.

The free of charge accommodation is in a shared chalet with private bedroom and bathroom, fully fitted kitchen, and spacious lounge. Shifts will 5 days per week, with two days off, usually consecutively. During the busy times you would generally work 8-10 hours a day with a break during your shift of at least an hour. You will be paid hourly, we don't expect anyone to work for free! We are looking to recruit as soon as possible.
