About us

We are a North London family owed locals based irish pub. We range from a cosy family bar to a lively busy music venue on weekend evenings. We are looking for an experienced bar manager to take over the running of the pub, there is an option of live in accommodation and an immediate start. We have a great team of bartenders and supervisors which will support the ideal applicant. We do require all applicants to be license holders and will be required to be the DPS.

We're looking for a dynamic and creative Bar Manager who can successfully manage our beautiful pub. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and have an appreciation for both traditional and modern drinks. This fast paced, energetic position requires a strong work ethic, excellent verbal communication skills, problem solving skills and a passion for customer satisfaction. Currently The Ship is closed so we are looking for someone to be involved in an exciting new re-launch, ideally the candidate will have been involved in the re opening of a pub/restaurant prior.

Responsibilities:

• Order and stock beverages and glassware.
• Establish and enforce rules regarding the service of alcohol.
• Work within a budget for beer orders and wedges.
• Prepare financial reports for management review.
• Oversee daily profits and losses and reconcile with banking statements monthly.
• Collect bar tabs at the end of the day.
• Be a team leader and manage the day to day responsibilities of the staff
• Ensure bar safety

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £26,000.00-£31,200.00 per year
