We are amidst a key and exciting time with a large and ambitious transformation agenda! To support all our exciting change plans, we are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to complete our team and to work with the business to deliver technology & business change projects aligned to our new strategy and our progressive change agenda.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing as a Project Manager at The Nottingham -

  • Lead, motivate and develop allocated and seconded team members to ensure that agreed performance and behavioural objectives are met
  • Manage change projects using the Society’s Project Management and CDLC governance, processes, and methodologies
  • Manage all disciplines for successful project delivery including - planning, estimating, change management, dependency management, risk and issue management, budget set-up and control, resource management, quality management
  • As a senior member of the project team, role model best practice and mentor junior colleagues to support their development
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the project management and wider change function
  • Lead the identification of systems and services from external suppliers, negotiating contracts for purchase and managing relationships with external suppliers and contractors to ensure objectives are met
  • Manage tender and procurement of contractors and third-party services

What we’re looking for -

You will have project management experience within a delivery-focussed environment. You will have a successful track record of project delivery through the effective management of the triple constraints of Time, Cost and Quality, you will be able to work with technical and non-technical colleagues to create credible end-to-end delivery plans.

You will have experience working on technology and/or business change projects and you’ll be knowledgeable about different project management methodologies.
