About Us

The Ministry of Sound opened in 1991 in a disused bus garage in a forgotten corner of South London. It was the first nightclub in the UK to have a 24-hour licence, didn’t serve alcohol and featured an earth-shaking sound system in a specially constructed dance box. We went on to become the world’s largest independent record company and stage giant dance events, including one for 50,000 people at the Millennium Dome.

We were pioneers in electronic music and have a history of taking risks, innovation, and colourful and creative marketing. Thirty years later we opened The Ministry, a workspace run as a member’s club, in a 50,000 sq. ft Victorian warehouse in SE1. The design is relaxed but functional with a bar, opening windows, an outside courtyard and plenty of space to sit, relax, work and socialise – everything you wouldn’t expect to find in a standard office. Following the unrivalled success of our flagship location at Borough Road, The Ministry Shepherds Bush will open in early 2024.

Across 115,000 sqft (over twice the size of SE1), The Ministry will include a Bakery, a bar and deli, an event space for over 300 people, a 150 seat rooftop restaurant, a private members gym and four discipline specific fitness studios, a juice bar AND workspace for over 2,000 people. The Role

You will be the first point of call for The Ministry sales line both via the phone & over email, confident meeting new people, being curious about them and solving their immediate problems as it relates to our products and services.

Securing new opportunities by developing and nurturing key relationships via phone, email and in-person & building and maintaining a pipeline of clients is paramount. You must be motivated to achieve targets and interested in helping clients expand & improve their business.

You will be organised with proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, demonstrate excellent multi-tasking ability and be curious and eager to learn. You will be happy in an office setting, responding to enquiries, qualifying leads and helping to turn one-off requests into tours & business for the Sales Team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial and experience managing enquiries through a CRM system.

You will be working alongside the Sales Account Manager and Sales Director to communicate availability to brokers/agents on a fortnightly basis with regular updates where needed. This will also include assisting the Sales Director with sending out proposals, diary management and organising monthly broker/agent events.

You will actively work to gain a strong understanding of The Ministry and the local competition/ staying up to date with industry knowledge and market trends.

£30,000 per annum plus team targeted annual bonus.
