Junior Designer

Job Title:

Location: South Milford, near Leeds.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Designer to join our creative and marketing department. The Junior Designer will be responsible for assisting with the design and production of a wide range of collateral for both in-house and client projects.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in the creation of digital and print designs including brochures, flyers, POS, vehicle livery, social media graphics and web assets.

· Collaborate to develop design concepts and ideas.

· Develop creative solutions for client briefs.

· Develop designs that are visually appealing, on-brand, and communicate the intended message.

· Use existing templates and guides to update and create new materials, ensuring brand consistency across all projects.

· Use brand guidelines effectively when working on in-house and client projects.

· Follow project timelines and ensure deliverables are completed on time.

· Take ownership of smaller design projects from start to finish.

· Conduct research and keep up to date with industry trends and best practice.

· Perform other design-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Degree/HND in design or a related field.

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

· A varied portfolio showcasing broad design skills and creativity.

· Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback.

· A passion for design and a desire to learn and grow in the field.

· Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Desirable:

· An interest in photography/videography.

· Familiarity with web design principles and experience with WordPress or similar CMS.

· MS Office skills.

· Social media skills.

Info:

· We operate across four sites in Yorkshire, so some occasional travel may be required.

· Full-time, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, 30 days annual leave increasing to 35 with service.
