Here at Halliwell Jones (Warrington) Ltd we have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Officer. The position is located at our Warrington Centre which is a fantastic modern facility including BMW and MINI Showrooms, Aftersales and Bodyshop.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• To be responsible for monitoring the company's compliance with health and safety law and providing the Aftersales Manager and Head of Business with updates and Health and Safety related issues. This will involve both desk based monitoring as well as company visits.
• To maintain all facilities and areas of Group businesses, both internally and externally to consistently high standards, this as instructed by the Group IT & Facilities Manager.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong communication, presentation, organisation and prioritisation skills with a commitment to providing the best possible standard of work.
• Strong knowledge of basic health and safety
• Willingness to learn and develop and keep up-to-date with H&S information.
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team player offering help and support to others
• An enthusiastic, dynamic and team orientated personality.
• Knowledge of computer applications (MS Office, Drive)
• Ability to act on own initiative and operate effectively without supervision and within a Team where required.
• Knowledge of buildings and grounds to be maintained (Full orientation will be given).
• Understanding of how things work.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of personal limitations and the ability to ask for help where necessary.
• Ability to deal with colleagues & customers with courtesy, tact and discretion whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.
• Hold qualifications including operating licences for machinery & vehicles where appropriate (Full Training will be given).
• Hold a Full clean driving licence.
