Seal Technicians – Service and Installation

North-West (Preston / Blackburn - Lancaster and the Lakes - across to Yorkshire when required)

Location: Home based - travelling to sites within your region as required.

Job Summary

You will have some experience within commercial refrigeration, customer service, and used to agile / mobile working over a large regional patch. Key responsibilities are:

· To measure, make and fit seals around commercial fridges and freezers within a variety of environments / sectors.

· Ongoing use of hand-held deployment devices and ensuring job logging software is up to date (by use of various portals).

· To maintain schedule and self-motivation to work alone for long periods of time with regular check ins back to headquarters / service desk.

· Excellent customer service skills and focus with the ability to communicate with a diverse customer base.

· Flexible approach to working pattern with occasional overnight stays with advance notice.

Skills and attributes:

• Valid UK driving licence;
• Educated to an overall good standard of education with Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent);
• Good organisational and administrative ability;
• Good timekeeping skills;
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to use measuring equipment;
• IT literate with proficiency in use of hand-held deployment devices;
• Practical problem solver;
• Flexibility with the willingness to learn new concepts and skills both incrementally and with training;
• Professional and customer focused;
• Confident and efficient communicator.
