About Us
The Angel Hotel is a prestigious 38-bedroom hotel Privett, Alton we take pride in offering exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. Recently, we underwent a remarkable refurbishment of our function room, which has led to an increased number of weddings and events being hosted throughout the year. We are now seeking a talented and experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our team on weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service to all guests attending weddings and events
- Set up tables, ensuring they are immaculately arranged and decorated
- Greet guests and escort them to their tables
- Take food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly
- Assist with event coordination, ensuring smooth flow and timing of service
- Clear tables and reset them for the next course or event
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure food is served efficiently and according to guests' preferences
- Address any guest inquiries or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a waiter/waitress, preferably in a wedding or events setting
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service techniques
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Impeccable grooming and presentation
- Positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction
- Flexibility to work on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United Kingdom
