I am currently working with a client that provide digital solutions for one of the world’s largest research companies in the UK. They are looking to hire a QA Engineer on a permanent basis to bring together research, implementation, methodological and subject-matter experts from around the world.
As a QA Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of mobile applications and data processing systems is up to scratch, as well as collaborating closely with their development, design, and product teams to create exceptional user experiences. As well as this you will be performing end-to-end testing of mobile applications to ensure functionality usability and compatibility.
What you will be doing:
- Designing and executing test plans, test cases and test scripts to validate features, workflows and data processing functionalities.
- Identifying and tracking software defects and issues using bug tracking systems.
- Collaborating with cross functional teams to define acceptance criteria and ensuring quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
- Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile app and data processing to contribute to process improvements and data processing systems.
Key skills needed:
- Experience as a QA Engineer
- Experience working with mobile applications and data processing systems.
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and technologies.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Kotlin, Swift, Or Objective-C)
- An ability to produce clear, informative supporting documentation.
