Warehouse Assistant

STERLING Separation Ltd operates a medium sized warehouse operation across two neighbouring units. We carry hundreds of lines, and offer same-day dispatch to our business customers across the UK. Our products are clean, safe and generally easy to handle. We operate a professional but relaxed and supportive working environment.

We're looking for a keen and enthusiastic person to assist our internal sales & logistics team in fulfilling customer orders accurately and quickly.

The role includes order picking, packing, goods inwards, general warehouse duties including cleanliness and tidiness, and some clean light assembly work

Initially we can accommodate part-time working if necessary, but expect it to become full time in a few months as the business grows further. For the right candidate we can offer full time hours from the start. Attitude and potential is every bit as important as relevant experience; full training will be given, but you should understand the rudiments of a warehouse operation. We are a growing business. All our team are important contributors to our success and the opportunity to progress can be earned.

The salary range published covers from young applicants up to and above the over 23 national living wage.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-40 per week

Salary: £8.00-£11.00 per hour

This involves email communication with customers, answering incoming telephone calls, and operating the Sage computer system.
