Kitchen Assistant – Permanent – 12 hours per week

We are currently looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join our successful Café and kitchen team on a permanent basis. The role entails both kitchen and front of house working when required. Previous experience in a similar role is preferable although training can be provided. The role requires week day, bank holidays and alternate weekend working therefore flexibility is essential.
About You.
With your love of food and your appetite to provide an exceptional service to your customers you’ll work hands on to deliver delicious food and a welcoming experience for all.
Training will be provided if needed as there is a requirement to hold level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene and Safety certificate. Ideally you will have experience cooking within a food and beverage retail outlet working to high food safety standards however training will be given to the right candidate.
You will work well under pressure as the café can be busy at peak times and have some knowledge of retail practices and procedures whilst having a friendly, professional personality.
Working within a team and being a true team player with the ability to help motivate colleagues will be a real asset.

You will be delivering a high quality food and beverage offering in our busy café at The Wolseley Centre whilst providing great customer service to a wide range of visitors to the centre.

In addition, we have the trading company which looks after the trading side of our business. This includes cafés at The Wolseley Centre and Westport Lake Visitor Centre, charity shops in Leek, Penkridge and Codsall and a retail shop in the Wolseley Centre.
