Position: Warehouse Manager

Location: Tyseley - Birmingham

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager with proven expertise in managing warehouse operations, particularly with Amazon Vendor experience. As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and smooth operation of our warehouse facility, ensuring the timely receipt, storage, and shipment of goods in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations Management:

- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes, procedures, and workflows to maximize productivity, accuracy, and safety.

- Manage and optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for optimal efficiency and capacity.

- Oversee receiving, inspection, storage, and inventory control activities, ensuring accurate stock levels, minimizing discrepancies, and facilitating timely replenishment.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration between warehouse, procurement, sales, and customer service departments.

2. Amazon Vendor Relationship:

- Utilize your expertise in working with Amazon Vendor Central to manage and maintain strong relationships with Amazon as a key business partner.

- Ensure compliance with Amazon's fulfillment requirements, labeling standards, and performance metrics to meet their expectations and maintain a positive vendor rating.

- Monitor and manage inventory levels, demand forecasting, and order fulfillment to meet Amazon's requirements, including shipment planning and inventory reconciliation.

3. Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure a motivated and high-performing team.

- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.

- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge in warehouse operations, safety protocols, and Amazon Vendor processes.

4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure warehouse performance, productivity, and accuracy.

- Regularly analyze and report on warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

- Utilize data and analytics to optimize warehouse operations, identify trends, and make strategic decisions to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

5. Health and Safety Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all warehouse staff.

- Implement and enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, and provide training on proper equipment handling and usage.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, preferably with specific Amazon Vendor experience.

Strong understanding of Amazon Vendor Central, including knowledge of fulfillment requirements, labeling standards, and performance metrics.

In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes.

Proficiency in utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software to optimize operations and accuracy.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers.

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience in maintaining a safe working environment.
