About the Role

Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK or Ireland sites, which includes but is not limited to:- Glasgow, Perth, Reading, or Havant.

Salary: £72,500 - £108,700 + Car / Car Allowance + Performance-Related Bonus + Private Medical Cover + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent Full Time, Flexible First options available

We are looking for a Senior Programme Manager to work with the IT Infrastructure & Platforms Director and other members of the ITLT to implement her delivery strategy typical responsibilities will include

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to a programme of activity, ensuring it is managed and delivered in a way that enables the benefits that were agreed at the initiation of the programme

• Establish and maintain highly effective relationships with multiple delivery teams involved in the delivery of the programme, stakeholders at all levels and business teams to ensure that the output from the Programme is understood and delivered in a way that meets and exceeds expectations

• Ensure successful transition to service, ensuring change lands well and meets business needs

• Effective management of 3rd parties, partners and Vendors reviewing their performance, ensuring alignment with SSE ways of working and values and leading engagement for the programme.

• Lead the delivery of multiple technology transformation solutions with focus on tangible outcomes in accordance with the appropriate methodology.

To be successful in this role, we would love you to have the following skills:

• Strong Service Delivery/Outsourcing knowledge to provide the delivery teams with support and guidance.

• The capability and skills to deliver a quality product at pace.

• Conflict resolution through negotiation.

• Be resilient, with the ability to work well under pressure.

• Ability to manage complex delivery in a complex environment, potentially including applying remedial measures where appropriate.
