Location: Dublin, Reading
Salary: Circa £20,100 per annum pro rata

Our Project Management Office Analyst summer placements provide real hands-on experience through a 12-week placement in our CPR/Genesis Program in the UK & Ireland. Throughout your placement, you will have the support of a business mentor and manager, who will provide guidance and support to enable you to reach your full potential.
Working as part of our multi-disciplined Project Management Office, we’ll give the opportunity for a student to gain the knowledge and experience needed to work towards a Project Support role that can lead you in the future into other exiting career paths.
You will work with a team of experienced PMO analysts improving the way we work regarding financial, processes, resourcing, and many other exciting aspects. By working in the PMO you will have access to a wide variety of new experiences, and it will be the first step to your bright career. By being exposed to a high-profile project like our CPR/Genesis Program you will learn from some of the best experts and practices from the market.
Our summer placement students work collaboratively in a variety of contexts, while also taking ownership of their role by working under their own direction to drive action forward. There will also be networking and presentation opportunities, specialist sessions and support from our graduates.
What do I need?
Our opportunities are open to students from any discipline who are entering their final year of study in Autumn 2023 year or those who have already graduated. The role will require a detail-oriented person that has a driven motivation to success. You will need the ambition to become an expert in how real live project and product are managed though the lifecycle.
We'd love you to have some practical work or project experience that reflects your passion for the energy sector, as well as demonstrable experience of working in a team. You'll also be comfortable working to and setting stretching individual targets and using your own initiative to overcome challenges and should have a genuine interest in SSE and the prospect of a long-term future with us.
