Spire Murrayfield Hospital are looking to recruit a Theatre Porter to join our fantastic Theatre team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as a patient escort throughout the hospital

• Collect and deliver pathology, drugs and blood samples

• Carry out security checks, ensuring the premises are safe and secure at all times

• Frank external mail

• Control of general and clinical waste in line with corporate and hospital policy.

• Check medical gas supplies

• Accept and sign in all deliveries

• Ensure the hospital and grounds are kept tidy at all times

• Ad hoc duties as required.

Who we're looking for

Essential

• Previous experience in providing excellent customer service

• Experience of working in a team.

• A clear telephone voice.

• Good organizational and communication skills.

• P.C. skills.
