Graduate Geophysicist, SOCOTEC, 23,000 – 25,000, Deeside

We’re looking for a Graduate Geophysicist to collect and process a wide range of geophysical data from sites across the UK. Responsibilities include:

• Ground Penetrating Radar, Seismic, Electromagnetic and Resistivity data collection
• Geophysical data processing and interpretation
• Report writing and production of data
• Assisting other surveys teams in land based topographic and underground utility surveys

• A further education certificate in Geophysics or related discipline
• An ability to follow set methods and procedures in addition to being able to use own initiative
• Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
• A self-motivated attitude to work both independently and within a team
• A full UK driving licence, as the role includes regular travel
