This is an exciting opportunity to join the Social Media team and contribute toward the future success of Sky. Working alongside the Social Media Managers, you will support them on concepting and planning brand-defining social campaigns on Sky’s social media channels for TV show launches (from drama and comedy to documentaries) plus entertainment brand campaigns, films, and always-on content
What you'll do:
- Help deliver social campaigns and always-on content across our key channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Tik Tok). This includes planning, creating assets, writing social-first copy and scheduling content, to help support our key titles across multiple genres (Cinema, Acquired Titles – like Succession and The Last Of Us, Arts and Factual).
- Raising POs and working with the wider team and finance to align our budgets.
- Liaising and booking meetings with external and internal partners and agencies.
- Becoming an ambassador for excellent social content within the department – which includes PR and Influencers.
- Proactively identify emerging trends and opportunities, relevant to Sky and the titles we have
- Occasional out-of-hours working to support on live broadcasts, community management and reactive content.
What you'll bring:
- A track record of working in social media, developing, producing and delivering social media content and campaigns.
- A passion for social media and a flair of creativity to help Sky find new ways to gain our audience’s attention and get people talking.
- A love for all things entertainment and TV.
- Professional experience in handling a Social Media calendar and the use of scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Sprinklr or similar)
- Experience and proficiency in reporting for different Social Media channels (either via the native platforms or third-party reporting tools)
- Ability to form positive relationships with multiple internal and external partners

Your office base:
Osterley:
Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
