A scrum master in the Interactive AI team has the unique opportunity to work on customer products driven by machine learning technology and being used by tens of millions of customers globally. As the Scrum Master, you'll be at the forefront of our Agile development process, leading the team to greater efficiency and innovation. Your role will be crucial in driving collaboration between two of the biggest players in the industry: Sky and Comcast.
What you'll do:
- Be a champion of the Agile process. Mentor, coach and develop teams through continuous improvement cycles; use health checks and data to track delivery, value, and make informed decisions and optimisations on process, performance, and quality.
- Build an unquestioning, highly motivated and supportive environment, with an emphasis on problem-solving and a growth mindset. Be observant of team dynamics, and in a timely manner, encourage and facilitate productive outcome-focused discussions, decision making, and conflict-resolution meetings, so that everyone works in a happy environment and has an excellent opportunity to thrive. Communicate outcomes back to the team so information is not siloed and encourage other team members to do so too.
- Actively support Product Owners with the ongoing creation and prioritisation of clear roadmaps, OKRs, and backlogs. Ensure these are highly visible and understood within teams and encourage close collaboration and partnerships between product and tech.
- Proactively remove, and help the Scrum team identify and remove, any technical, organisational and process impediments in sprints.
- Support multi-skilled, multi-discipline research and development teams on delivering the best value to our customers with extensive collaboration with external teams and partners.
- Promote continuous learning and knowledge sharing with internal and external teams across the wider organisation. Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team and encourage experimentation and learning.
- The Scrum Team is your priority. Additionally, you will actively contribute to Agile communities in Sky and Comcast and support Agile improvement and success in a wider organisation.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in a Scrum Master role.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams to delivering products to customers on a large scale.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, listening, negotiating and influence skills.
- Hands-on experience in coaching teams to create self-motivated and empowered teams, using continuous feedback and improvement.
- A self-motivated leader with passion for new products and technology. A champion of continuous delivery and excellent customer experience, with value at the heart of what you do.
- Be data driven and have practical experience using data and metrics to examine, analyse and predict product value to customers, and thus drive meaningful decision making.
- Utilize tools such as Miro, Jira, and Confluence to help develop the team's backlog, visualizations, and documentation.
- Previous experience of leading or working on machine learning customer products or services is a big plus.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
