We are seeking an experienced and professional Legal Assistant to join our friendly team. Experience of Financial mis-selling preferred but not essential as training will be provided. You will be joining a small but growing department of litigation specialists.
The role involves making outbound calls to clients and potential clients to assist them with the completion of various paperwork. The candidate will also take inbound calls from new clients and will assist with directing main line inbound calls. Strong written skills and a good telephone manner are pre-requisites for this position.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual who is able to work progressively in a fast paced and busy team. Good interpersonal skills are essential as client care is a priority of the firm.
The ideal candidate will be IT literate and Proclaim experience is highly desirable.
Responsibilities will include:
-Reviewing documents, updating clients, liaising with third parties, reviewing quantum, drafting court documents and letters.
-Liaising with court and defendants, preparing witness statements.
-Instructing experts and counsel.
-Preparing for court hearings.
