If you're looking for flexible, rewarding work that fits around your current commitments, look no further! We're recruiting experienced individuals to join our network of approved childcare professionals in the Bedford area.
As a Sitters approved childcarer you'll have the opportunity to accept offers of daytime childcare and evening babysitting from local families, via the Sitters online childcare platform. Childcare will take place either in the family's own home, or while they are staying in holiday accommodation or hotels nearby.

- You have total control over when you'd like to receive offers of work and there's no minimum expectation - you can accept as many or as few childcare booking requests as you wish.

- Parents pay you direct for your time at the end of each booking, you are not required to fill in timesheets or pay any fees at all to Sitters.co.uk.
- For each Sitters childcare booking you attend, you are covered by £3 million public liability insurance.
What we're looking for:
We're looking for friendly, knowledgeable childcarers who love working with children and can demonstrate a long-term commitment to childcare and babysitting.
- You'll need a minimum of 2 years' recent professional childcare experience in the UK and be able to provide exemplary childcare references.
- A full driving licence and your own transport to drive yourself to and from childcare bookings is required.
- Ideally you'll hold a recent DBS certificate.
Our selection process and extensive vetting procedure includes:
- A detailed online application form

- Contacting previous childcare employers to verify references
- A face-to-face video interview with a member of our experienced Recruitment Team
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 0-40 per week
Salary: £10.75-£11.25 per hour
