Product Owner

Product owner (Biologist) - Robotics for Laboratory Automation

We are looking for a talented and motivated biologist with a passion for robotics and laboratory automation to join our team as a Product Owner. In this role, you will be doing the research and analysis to help develop products that will revolutionise the way scientists work and ultimately accelerate global biological research.

• Work closely with scientists and researchers to understand their needs and requirements.
• Analyse competitors' products and identify gaps and opportunities for innovation.
• Develop and refine product specifications, including features, functions, and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to bring products to market.
• Act as the voice of the customer and advocate for their needs in product development and decision-making processes.

The team
You will be supported by the Product Manager and form a crucial part of the Product Team. You will be working closely with our Science, Hardware, Software, User Experience and Sales teams who follow a set of guiding principles, including:

- Nothing is Sacred - We regularly reflect on our product and our ways of working. Using our learnings we change our approach to delivery and our product.

• You have a strong understanding of scientific workflows and laboratory procedures
• You are curious and passionate about automation. No robotics experience is needed.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• You would like to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities
• You are naturally very organised
• You have awesome attention to detail

• You prefer understanding and explaining science to operating a micropipette.
• You prefer to live in a Somerset national park, on the beach, rather than a sprawling urban metropolis.
• You want to have fun working in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.
• You want to have an impact in ways youve never had before… were a small company (circa 65 people) with solid foundations for rapid growth
