Front of House Staff for The Yard by Silver Oak
Silver Oak Coffee is a speciality coffee roastery, based in Ely. We have just opened The Yard - an awesome venue, with converted shipping containers providing great coffee, drinks, desserts and delicious foodie treats.
We need excellent waiters and waiteresses - experience staff to run food to customers, keep them happy and to keep the site super clean and in tip top condition. You must, must, must like people, dogs and children and be smiley and polite.
Hours are between 9am and 10pm. Pay will depend on age and experience.
Responsibilities
- Talking to customers and making sure they are enjoying themselves
- Providing excellent customer service
- Ensuring high standards of health, safety and food hygiene, keeping tables, chairs and area clean and disinfected
- Ensuring high standards of personal responsibility and cleanliness
- Ensuring good communication and relationships with staff to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement
- Supporting the growth and development of the Silver Oak Coffee brand, as a high quality brand
- Restocking requested
- Participation in regular reviews with the aim of continual improvement as required
- All other duties as reasonably requested
Desired work experience
- Customer service skills experience is a must
- Waiting/ restaurant experience desired
Education
- Hospitality/ catering qualifications an advantage
- Food Hygiene L2 Certificate an advantage
- First Aid Certificate an advantage
Skills
- Must love coffee, people and dogs!
- Attention to detail, very important
- Ability to work on own initiative
Details
- Main location is The Yard by Silver Oak - 35a Newnham St, Ely.
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Salary: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
