1. PURPOSE OF THE JOB

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITY
- Job Purpose:
- Global Investment Banking Team, EMEA (“GIB, EMEA”) offers comprehensive advisory and debt arrangement for the non-recourse and limited recourse financing of long-term, capital intensive projects. Our specialist teams focus on a range of sectors, including power & renewables, infrastructure, leverage, real estate, aviation/shipping finance.
- Operating as a product expert, contributing to the origination, structuring and execution of the investment banking product in the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Central Asia. Required to work closely with Relationship Managers to manage client sales/client interaction in order to support product development, risk solutions and cross-sell opportunities.
- Main Duties:
- To assist business development activity, such as specific marketing initiatives, and pitch opportunities (including preparation of power point presentations).
- To deal with day to day client or counterparty interactions within investment banking area at a counterpart level; identifying and understanding client needs in order to develop and originate product solutions.
- To assist the team with responses to bidding process with high quality and accurate output.
- To assist the team with the preparation of various memo or documents and generally support the execution of advisory mandates under the supervision of more senior staff.
- To analyse and interpret a range of complex financial and market data sources to understand product performance and potential impact.
- To operate the credit application process and present credit cases to internal audiences, showing an understanding of credit requirements to develop a compelling business rationale to enable transactions.

- Bachelor’s degree (or expected to graduate within 2023) or Postgraduate in relevant field
- Relevant work experience
- IT experienced preferred but not essential
3. SALARY & BENEFITS
- VISA: Work Visa - Have the right to live and work in the U.K without restrictions but not essential.
- Annual Salary: ￡31,200 ~(Negotiable depending on experience)
- Recruitment: Full-time. (Part time available for General Administration)*
- Working hours: 8 hours/ 5 days (Full Time) & Negotiable for Part time
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Holiday: 20 days/Year(pro rata)
- Insurance: Provision of health insurance in accordance with local labour laws
- Recruitment period: 11 April 2023 ~ 05 May 2023
- Recruitment due date: The work start date can be adjusted after consultation with job seekers
4. PROCESS
- 1st: Document review (Written review of submitted documents such as resume, self-introduction letter, and certificate)
- 2nd: Interview (comprehensive evaluation of skills required for job performance through interview and foreign language evaluation)

- Shihan Bank London Branch is playing role of a Control Tower in Investment Banking across EMEA region. The branch consists a number of department including Treasury, Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Trade Finance, Risk Management, and etc.
