The Role

Sheffield Students’ Union Facilities Department are looking for two part-time cleaners to join the team.

These are challenging roles requiring hard-working, fast paced, reliable team members with a desire to produce a high standard of work. The majority of the work is carried out in licensed bar areas, including toilets, where there is a requirement to clean up alcohol and bodily fluids from floors and other surfaces. Machinery is used in these roles i.e. Scrubber dryers, vacuum and buffers.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but full training will be provided.

Salary: Frontline/Assistant A - £20,130 (pro-rata for part time)

Working Pattern:
18 hours per week (3 hours per day all early morning work, 6 days per week); 52 weeks per year.

15 hours per week (3 hours per day all early morning work, 5 days per week); 34 weeks per year
