We provide technology solutions, and we manage the solution delivery end to end. Our consultants engage with our client teams but do not embed themselves into their teams. Our project deliveries can be fully managed by Seriös Group to the extent where we will develop and test in our infrastructure before deploying to our clients’ environments.

The technologies and project profiles we work with vary. We have projects delivering classic cloud data warehouse and analytics solutions in AWS, Azure and On-Premises. We also work in the IoT sensor space delivering analytics solutions designed to help our clients achieve carbon net zero and reduce their building maintenance and running costs.

Having formed in February 2020 we have built up a client portfolio in the big corporate space consisting of Technology, Financial Services, Real Estate, Facilities Management, Utilities, Manufacturing and Charitable organisations.

The Role: Senior Test Consultant

Seriös Group is looking for an individual with experience of working across all areas of testing. As a Senior Test Consultant within Seriös Group you will play an integral role in shaping test approaches and plans. Creating and executing manual system tests, creating and running automated regression tests with the ability to lead and guide others.

You will be responsible for liaising with key stakeholders and working closely with the development team to resolve any defects. You will be given continuous training on new tools and techniques. Liaising with our clients and working collaboratively is a key part of the role and therefore good client facing skills will be required.

The role will involve mentoring junior consultants and therefore, prior mentoring and/or line management experience would be advantageous.

Background required:

• 3+ years experience working in a similar role
• Test Lead/Management Experience required
• Experience working in data integration/migration projectsExperience working on data analytics and business intelligence projects
• Ability to upskill others in testing and quality assurance
• Experience of managing teams in the implementation of automation frameworks
• Excellent understanding of the entire SDLC
• Strong technical background
• Strong Stakeholder management skills
• Experience of mentoring and/or managing junior resource
• Web-based testing experience
• Experience in creating manual and automated test scripts
• Experience of using SQL to interrogate, create and update data
• Experience of Java/Selenium preferable
• Experience of creating test scripts and defects in a structured manner
• Knowledge of data warehousing and web platforms
• Excellent communication skills
• Good attention to detail
• ISEB Foundation Certified in Software Testing / ISTQB-BCS Certified Tester Foundation Level or above.
