Scottish Water has an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Modern Apprentice to join the Service Review Team in Edinburgh.
This is a Fixed Term opportunity for 18 months.
As a Modern Apprentice at Scottish Water, you’ll be joining one of Scotland’s most critical businesses and be part of the team who deliver essential water and waste water services to the people of Scotland.

What will you be doing?
You will receive support and development to work towards and complete a Business Administration Modern Apprenticeship, which will involve on the job training and external assessment.
You'll be based within the Service Review team, providing administrative support within the workflow admin team to help drive outstanding customer service and outperform other key regulatory targets. This will include recording and issuing of formal complaint/claims to the wider team, and reviewing and processing applicable payments to customers as outlined in our Code of Practice.
You will be based at our Fairmilehead Office in Edinburgh, with some flexibility needed to travel to other locations.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for people who are self-motivated, team players who are well organised, good problem solvers and have a positive attitude and the ability to work on your own initiative. You’ll have five National 4 or 5 Qualifications (English, Maths and Science are advantageous but not essential). You must also have or be working towards a full UK driving licence.

It is desirable that you have a good understanding of Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and a commitment to learning and developing new skills.
