IT Security Specialist Job Description
Duties:
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to potential security threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential weaknesses in the system
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Manage user access control, including creating and deleting user accounts, assigning permissions, and resetting passwords
- Provide technical support for security-related issues, including troubleshooting VPN connectivity issues
