Gas Breakdown/Service Engineer - Northwest
As a member of our gas team, you’ll be responsible for the installation and maintenance of plumbing, heating and gas equipment throughout the northwest of England.
As a member of our gas team, you’ll be responsible for the installation and maintenance of plumbing, heating and gas equipment throughout the northwest of England.
Below is brief overview of the clients you’d be working with on a daily basis:-
- Merlin Entertainment (Blackpool Tower, Sealife Centre, Madame Tussaud)
- Mitchells & Butlers (1,784 managed pubs, bars and restaurants)
- Admiral Taverns (Over 1,600 predominantly wet-led community pubs)
- Heineken UK (Star Pubs & Bars - With around 2,400)
- Robinsons Brewery & Pubs (260 pubs, inns & hotels across the Northwest)
- Cloud FM Group (Wolseley, Krispy Kreme, The Range, Fridays, Plus Many More)
- Harry Ramsden’s (Britain's longest established restaurant chain)
- Barlow’s - UKs leading NICEIC Approved Electrical Contractor & Maintenance Provider

A successful candidate for this position will be a hands-on go-getter who enjoys working on the road in different environments daily.
Those interested in this position should have excellent communication skills and be dedicated to working hard, unsupervised but also a member of a larger team.
Responsibilities and expectations:
- Customer Relations – Must be presentable and polite, as this is a customer-focused role.
- Familiar with heating, hot water, plumbing, and gas systems including S Plan.
- Ideally have fault finding experience – S Plan, Boilers, Zone Valves, Pumps, Heating Controls.
A successful candidate must hold the relevant qualifications for the works being carried out, although we can assist with gaining additional qualifications (Such as domestic changeover to commercial gas, LPG and Oil qualifications)
- Full Time – 42.5 hrs (Will be more towards 47.5hrs due to driving)
- Paid door to door
- Overtime available weekly
- On call retention for being on call £100
- On Call Rota – 1 in 5
- Use of company vehicle in own time with free fuel allowance – 20 miles Per Week
- 32 Days Holiday, including 8 days bank holiday.
Hourly Rate - £16.97 to £19.23 - Depending on experience.
- Bonus scheme – Days out, monthly prize draw
- Loyalty bonus - £500 paid after 6 months employment and expected performance.
