Personal Trainer

Skylark Golf and Country Club is a beautiful and award winning Golf and Country Club located in Whiteley, Hampshire. The Club also has unique function facilities and services 120 plus weddings per year.

We are seeking two Personal Trainer's to join their fun loving, hardworking team. Skylarks Fitness Instructors are key to maintaining and enhancing Skylarks reputation through providing a high standard of member service and fitness environment.

The Personal Trainer's will assist and advise members on all aspects of their fitness and well being. Qualified to gym instructor level 3 or equivalent, you will use your learning and skills to closely match the fitness needs of your members and guests through our gym induction process and ongoing fitness program service. You will support the team by contributing to the cleanliness of the gym and pool area, ensuring that the cleanliness and presentation is of the highest standards at all times. You will have a proactive approach in promoting and encouraging membership sales.

Personal Trainer Duties:

• Build a rapport and regularly interact with health club members.
• Promote and encourage members to partake in gym activities and classes
• Providing an exciting gym environment through 20 minute tasters, one-on-one and group session on the gym floor
• Group exercise classes (structured), gym inductions, writing exercise programmes and performing health and fitness assessments.
• Reception duties booking classes, phone calls, cashing and setting the tills, distributing and washing robes and towels.
• Pool duties pool tests, cleaning and maintenance to the highest standard.
• Attend 1 to 1 and team meetings to aid professional development.
• Present a professional appearance by wearing the correct uniform and having a positive attitude at all times, whilst maintaining an excellent standard of customer service.
• Be flexible in your job role and willing to assist in all other duties, within reason, as requested by your manager.
• Equipment cleaning and maintenance to the highest standard.

Personal Trainer Candidate Requirements:

• Gym Instructor level 3 in Fitness or equivalent
• 7 day a week operation includes early starts, evening finishes and weekend work, therefore a degree of flexibility is required
• Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week worked 5 days over 7 including weekends and bank holidays

Salary: £21,674 per annum
