Royal Mail are looking for a talented Business Partner Analyst to join their Business Partnering team responsible for managing improvements and changes to reports and dashboards providing the Business with key metrics and data.

About the role

You’ll partner with and build strong relationships with business stakeholders and 3rd parties for critical activities and influence decision making using data, insights, and commercial acumen.

You’ll be the point of contact for colleagues from functions across within Royal Mail to request data, insight, and critical changes to existing reports, applications, defining requirements and working with 3rd party suppliers to deliver and test requests.

You’ll exploit existing data, tools, and techniques to support executive reporting and performance management to maintain relevance to the business and end users along with supporting the on-going review of team processes and tools to drive continual improvements in standard reporting, reporting cycle times and end user functionality. Having the opportunity to explore how Alteryx and Tableau can replace existing reports/dashboards.

About You

• A proven track record of successful stakeholder management, developing & maintaining effective relationships with internal key stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
• Experience of project development phases e.g. Requirements definition, Design, Test and UAT.
• Advanced in Excel to support analysis and provision of data.
• Experience of supporting the use of dashboards and other visualisation tools.
• Have ability to explore and initiate new solutions including the use of Tableau and Alteryx.
• Your written and verbal communication skills are paramount, with ability to adjust your communication style depending on the audience.
• Translation of business requirements to support reporting and dashboard development work undertaken by third parties.
