Roundel Manufacturing are one of the UK’s leading providers of complete Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom solutions to the UK Housing market, that is enjoying significant growth and is looking to expand its team in the transport department to enable and support this growth. The right person will be joining a progressive organisation, with opportunity to develop and excel.
The successful candidate will be responsible daily for the delivery of the product, completing proof of delivery (POD) paperwork, taking images of the deliver, and uploading to the organisations POD system.
As a Class 2 Driver for Roundel Manufacturing, you are very much the face of the organisation, delivering the product, your appearance is to be well maintained and clean and your demeanour friendly and personable.
The Driver will have the following responsibilities whilst delivering and handling Roundel Manufacturing product.
- Complete daily deliveries as assigned by the Transport Planner
- Communicate daily, problems encountered at relevant site/delivery
- Rectifying minor defects with your assigned vehicle.
- Complete daily user maintenance checks on the assigned vehicle, with designated app (Fleet Planner)
- Check load safety prior to departure
- Complete other tasks as required by Transport Manager/Planner/Organisation
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Ability to communicate in a timely manner
- Category C Licence
- Driver CPC Qual
- Digital Taco
- Multi-Drop Experience
- A willingness to learn new skills
- Experience of fitting Driver Fitted items to both van and HGV fleet
- Attention to detail
Remuneration
- £13.52 PH = £28,121.60 PA
- 40Hr Contract plus overtime (paid at standard rate)

Experience:
- Driving a Goods Vehicle: 1 year (preferred)
