A unique opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join a growing firm in the West Midlands. In this role, you will be entirely office-based and work alongside Commercial Solicitors, providing vast administrative support whilst learning from experienced professionals.
About the role
This Legal Secretary role will allow the successful applicant to work on a varied workload that includes:
- Team administration, including photocopying, faxing, filing and scanning.
- Liaising with clients via telephone and email and building solid relationships
- Make appointments, arrange meetings, and maintain an up-to-date diary for your fee earner
- Prepare and distribute agendas chasing any pending paperwork to ensure layers have adequate time for planning
- Typing information from manual documents, digital dictation and voice recognition
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least six months of Legal Assistant experience
- The ability to touch type
- Have Proficient IT skills, including accurate typing
- Ties to the West Midlands
