Live-in Care Assistant

We are looking for experienced Female Live-in CarerGivers who speak fluent English, who enjoy cooking and will support our clients to stay living in their own homes. Many of our clients prefer car drivers, but this is not essential. We provide on-going training and weekly support calls to ensure you are safe, happy and feel part of our team!

What do we offer our Live-in Carers?

• £96.50/day plus 12% pre-paid holiday pay (£11.58) = £108/day = £756/week (equating to approximately £3,000/month).

• As part of a network of over 65 offices at Right at Home, should your care package come to an end, there is the opportunity to move into other care packages across the UK, offering you job security and continuity.

Live-in CareGiver requirements:

• At least 1 years experience working as a Live-in CareGiver.
• Fluent English and basic reading and writing skills.
• The right to work in the UK (We do NOT provide Visa sponsorship).
• Acceptable DBS on update system or willing to apply for new DBS.
• Basic cooking skills.
• Patient and caring nature with compassion and empathy.
• Honesty and truthfulness.
• Short and long placements available.

What does being a Live-in CareGiver involve?

Our Live-in CareGivers enable adults requiring personal care and support to remain independent and live in their own homes for as long as possible, doing the following:

• Helping clients with their every day tasks including personal care.

• Offering companionship on a one-to-one basis.
• Managing different medical conditions like Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, etc.
• Household duties, cooking, cleaning and general running of their home.

Where will you be working?

We cover a variety of locations including: Havant, Hayling Island, Waterlooville, Emsworth and Petersfield.

Havant is a vibrant town, with a large selection of shops and a weekly market - perfect for a gentle stroll with your client or during your break.

Hayling Island is home to miles of unspoilt coastline and countryside and offers peace and tranquillity, where you can walk, cycle or relax. Hayling Island holds a European Blue Flag award and its excellent beaches have also been awarded a Tidy Britain Seaside Award for their water quality, safety and cleanliness.

Waterlooville is a vibrant town, with a large selection of shops, a weekly market and a stones throw from the South Downs National Park - perfect for a gentle stroll with your client or for a bigger adventure during your daily 2 hour break or with your client.

Emsworth is a lovely nautical town, close to the seafront with a selection of cafes, coffee shops, and locally produced products. The train station is a 10/15-minute walk away which gives you easy access to larger towns and attractions.

Petersfield is an ancient market town originally built as a Norman 'new town' at the end of the 11th Century. It is now a vibrant place for shopping and eating out with weekly markets on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
