FX Technical Business Analyst

This is an excellent contract opportunity (inside IR35) with Projecting Group, working directly with one of our global banking clients.

We are currently recruiting for an FX Technical Business Analyst working within the market department of Corporate and Investment division. The candidate will join a squad of 10 members following agile methodology and will be in contact with the final users which are Traders, Middle Office, Back Office and the FX management.

Essential Requirements for the vacancy:

- Hands-on business analysis skillset across the full project life cycle: able to deliver high quality technology solutions on time and budget.

- Ability to work in a demanding environment and engage with senior front-office users.

- Previously have worked in a Front office or Middle/Back Office or Risk Management areas.

- Excellent knowledge of FX products (Cash and Volatility).

- Extensive experience working with Murex, especially with FX products (Cash and Volatility)..

- A good understanding of the software development lifecycle and the role of the Business Analyst within it.

- Experience in the integration of products and events in Murex or other MO/BO systems, having a solid understating end to end of the product management.

- 5+ years working in Financial Services/Banking.

Preferred:

- Expertise in SLQ databases and also Murex database architecture.

- Knowledge of FLEX libraries in Murex and PYMX architecture and having some experience with it.

- Ability to code in Python some scripts for benchmarking files or generating ad hoc reports when necessary.

- Spanish knowledge (Optional)

Working model: Remote, Spain or UK. CET working hours.

Salary: Competitive, depending on skills and experience.

Contract type: Contract Inside IR35.

Duration: 8 months with possible extension.

Work authorisation: You must already have the right to work in Europe or UK. If you are selected for interview, you will be asked to provide evidence of your right to work in Europe or UK before the interview proceeds.
